For this courtyard project, my client sought to revitalize her existing planters, which had been overtaken by dead plants, while maintaining harmony with the surrounding shared space. I focused on selecting pink flowering perennials that could thrive in the predominantly shaded area, offering color and texture without overwhelming the existing ecosystem. To achieve a cohesive look, I added new containers that complemented the original ones and introduced decorative accent planters to enhance the overall texture. Recognizing the client’s desire to care for the plants herself, I provided a personalized guide on pruning, fertilization, and watering to ensure the plants would thrive for years to come.
